Jamboree

Game time! The boys were all so excited to finally get to this day. They have all worked so hard. They finally got the right to call themselves a Hornet!!! Thanks to all the parents, family & friends for coming out and supporting the kids. It was hot today, so thanks to all those working the sidelines for keeping the kids cooled and hydrated!!

Tackle Time

I am posting these pics about a week late! Sorry about that. It's been quite busy around here. OMG! The kids were so excited to finally get their pads on. I know Landon couldn't wait to start hitting. The practices have been going really well. They all seem to be learning a ton and getting to know each other at the same time. Since these pics, the team had their official weigh-in and all the kids made the weight limit. There were a few that were over the wight limit before practices started, but all of them lost weight and came in under 90lbs. We are so proud of them. They worked very hard!!

The Good Ole Days

Toby's Mom and Dad brought over some photo albums from Pop Warner days. We laughed and Toby started telling stories from "The Good Ole Days"!!

First Practice

It was a wet one! The rain came down as a drizzle and cooled it off a bit, though. It was a good first practice. Coaches and players got to get aquainted. The kids did lots of conditioning drills. We've got to get their stanima up! The kids did great. They all seemed to be pumped up and ready to go!

Baylor had fun being the Waterboy! He had to fill the bottles up and then take them to the players! Emmie cheered on the sideline.

Helmets & Pads

WOW! Everyone was so excited! Toby talked to the parents and kids about what to expect during the season. The kids waited in line to be sized for their helmets and practice gear. Most of them came out wearing their helmets. As we were leaving the park Connor shouted out the car window, "Go Hornets!" Landon is pumped, too! We can't wait until practice starts. 2 more days to go!

So Football Begins
